- To encourage married couples to accept and bring up the children, God wants to give them, In Catholic faith
- To enable the families to live out the Gospel and the teachings of the Church
- To encourage the families to pray for vocation and actively participate In vocation promotion activities
- To assist the families for growing in holiness and for their integral development, such as health and well-being
- To assist our families to become ‘domestic church’ and missionary families

കത്തോലിക്കാ കുടുംബങ്ങളെ യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ
ഗാര്‍ഹിക സഭയാക്കുക.
പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനയില്‍ വളരുന്നതോടൊപ്പം വിശ്വാസത്തില്‍ ആഴപ്പെട്ട്, പ്രേഷിത തീര്‍ത്ഥാടക സ്വഭാവം നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്താതെ നിത്യജീവന്‍
ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി സ്നേഹിച്ച്‌ ജീവിക്കുന്ന കുടുംബമാണ്‌ യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ ഗാര്‍ഹിക സഭ.
ദൗത്യം
1. കുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ വിശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിനും സമഗ്ര വളര്‍ച്ചയ്ക്കുമായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുക.
2. ദൈവം നല്കുന്ന മക്കളെയെല്ലാം സ്വീകരിക്കാനും വളര്‍ത്താനും ദമ്പതികളെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുകയും (പാപ്തരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക (ഉത്തരവാദിത്വ പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായ മാതൃത്വവും പിതൃത്വ
വും).
3. വൈദികര്‍, സമര്‍പ്പിതര്‍, ഏകസ്തര്‍, കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ ഇവര്‍ക്കായി പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുകയും സഹായിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ശീലം വളര്‍ത്തി, ദൈവവിളിക്കായുളള തിരുസഭയുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളില്‍ സജീവമായി പങ്കുചേരുക.
4. തിരുസഭയുടെ പ്രബോധനങ്ങളില്‍ ജീവിക്കുവാന്‍ കുടുംബങ്ങളെ തയ്യാറാക്കുക.
5. സുവിശേഷത്തിന്‌ സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിക്കുന്ന മിഷനറി കുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടായ്മ രൂപീകരണവും അവര്‍ക്കാവശ്യമായ പരിശീലനവും നല്കുക.
6. കുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ സുസ്ഥിരമായ വികസനത്തിനായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുക.
7. കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളുടെ സമഗ്രമായ ആരോഗ്യപരിപാലനത്തിനായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുക.
Our Activities
- Retreats: In the past five years we conducted 20 parish retreats, five family retreats and ten children’s retreats.
- Spiritual and material support: We could provide such support for 360 deserving families.
Through the registered charitable trust ‘Lumen Family’ we provide assistance for studies, marriage etc. We could also support one family for their house constructions. So far, we could mobilize and spent more than Rs.30 lakhs.
